Made in the UK, Denman products are used, enjoyed and endorsed by hairdressers in more than 60 countries worldwide confirming Denman as “the hairdressers’ hairbrush”. In 2013, the company celebrated the 75th anniversary of this iconic hairdressing brand which is renowned for its exceptional standards of quality, performance and innovation.

The first Denman hairbrush was invented back in 1938 by Ulsterman, John Denman Dean (also known as Jack Dean). Denman hairbrushes were popularised in the swinging sixties by hairdressing legend, Vidal Sassoon, through his revolutionary blow-drying techniques. We are eternally grateful to Vidal Sassoon for changing the architecture of hairdressing and deeply proud of our association with this industry icon.

Today, Denman manufactures in excess of 400,000 brushes and combs each month from its Northern Ireland based factory. As a family-owned company, Denman International aims to continue working with leading hairdressers and barbers within the industry to launch innovative and exciting professional tools.
